This is an HO scale laser cut craftsman kit by Laser Modeling 3. It's based on a prototype that exists in Sayre, PA on the New York State Line. This is a very large and extensive kit. To give you an idea of the size, it comes in a box 24” long by 13 1/2” wide by 3” deep and is packed full of construction material and a 70 page instruction book. The instruction book is a ringed type which allows the book to lay flat when open, a nice feature. The material for each assembly section is bagged and tagged for easy referance. The company has a web site www.lasermodeling3.com that has lots of referance photos taken during the construction of their kit.

Anne's Music is so named after Troels Kirk's wife. She is a flautist and Troels thought it would be approprite to include a music store named for her. Troels Coast Line RR is set in 1930's Maine and he is building this layout in his home town in Sweden. As always in Troels own words.

Troel's Kirk explains his next build on the Coast Line RR he is modeling in Sweden. I'm doodling a
little on a not too fancy little seafood restaurant standing on poles between Frédéric's Dave's Corner and the huge Cranberry Wharf. Thanks for all the good suggestions... I have no lack of ideas, it's just deciding which order to build it all that is a problem. The little lobster eatery would indeed have an outdoor eating area. The Seaview House Hotel in Convers will have a fine outdoor terrace restaurant too, where the wealthier tourists can look down on the others.

We thought it would be neat to show some of Troels Kirk's buildings on his Coast Line RR
for which there is no construction thread. To date, we have presented techniques for ten of his buildings and there's at least another six Troels has completed.
Troels On30 railroad has a locale in Maine during the 1930's. However, Troels himself is an artist living with his wife in Sweden. He has done a remarkable job transfering his talents as an artist to the building of his layout. As magnificient as his buildings are, his scenery is even more so. We hope to chronicle that here also in the future.

The next build to be featured on Modeler's Guild from Troels Kirk is the Tesdorf Weavery. This is Troels first structure of 2010 for his 1930's Maine layout located in his home in Sweden. It will be located in Teal's Cove on his Coast Line RR and consist of three buildings and a lean to shed. The article is again in Troels own words.
